The Senior Interior Designer is responsible for the creative vision, design, execution, and ongoing management of all company showrooms, photoshoot styling, trade showroom partner design, and corporate office display spaces. This role serves as the creative owner of the company's physical brand experience, ensuring every showroom, photoshoot, and customer-facing environment reflects the highest standards of design excellence and supports the company's growth strategy. The ideal candidate is a highly creative, detail-oriented interior designer with 5+ years of experience in luxury residential and/or high-end commercial interiors and a proven ability to execute complex design projects from concept through installation.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Showroom Ownership
- Lead design, planning, and execution of High Point Market showrooms for Spring and Fall Market cycles.
- Develop showroom concepts, floor plans, conceptual design stories, and customer journeys.
- Create furniture settings, accessory plans, lighting plans, artwork selections, and styling packages and execute prop styling and product styling to create showroom displays.
- Coordinate installation schedules vendor partnerships and showroom setup activities.
- Partner with merchandising team to ensure new product introductions are showcased effectively.
Corporate Showroom Management
- Own the design and maintenance of the corporate office showroom environment.
- Ensure showroom reflects current product strategy, brand positioning, and launch priorities.
- Create presentation spaces for customer visits, executive meetings, and product reviews.
Trade Show & Regional Showroom Design
- Design and execute trade customer showroom spaces and strategic design environments nationwide.
- Develop scalable design standards that maintain brand consistency across multiple locations.
- Travel as needed for installations, walkthroughs, and showroom openings.
- Own styling direction for all product photography and room scenes.
- Develop shot lists, styling plans, and visual storytelling concepts.
- Select accessories, rugs, lighting, artwork, textiles, and decorative elements.
- Partner with photographers, marketing teams, and merchandising to achieve desired brand aesthetics.
- Maintain photo styling inventory and prop library.
- Ensure all imagery aligns with brand standards and supports sales and merchandising objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or related field.
- 5+ years of professional interior design experience in luxury residential, hospitality, commercial, contract, or furniture industry environments.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft office, PowerPoint, &/or SketchUp preferred
- Strong project management skills & ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
