Job summary

HGA is seeking a Senior Interior Designer in Minneapolis, MN to lead design efforts and direct project teams from concept through construction. The role requires collaboration with clients, contractors, and agencies to achieve strong results and ensure code compliance.

Qualified candidates bring a Bachelor’s in Interior Design, 15+ years’ experience including PM, NCIDQ or CID, and expertise in Revit and SketchUp.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
• 15+ years of professional interior design experience including Project Management.
• NCIDQ or CID accreditation required.
• Proven leadership and project management with successful delivery.
• Excellent communication with clients and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design efforts on multiple projects from concept to construction.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, consultants, and agencies for smooth execution.
• Develop and manage design programming, planning, and strategies to meet goals.
• Oversee schedules, budgets, and delivery timelines to ensure quality.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility, exiting and life safety requirements.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
