Job summary

SAA Architects in Irvine, CA is looking for a seasoned Architect/Design Lead to drive all design phases and deliver high-quality client work. You will lead a team, coordinate with engineers, consultants, and the client, and ensure design excellence throughout project delivery.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in investor/occupier services, a professional architecture license, and strong communication skills to manage client relationships and project budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in architecture or related field.
• Professional architectural license or registration required.
• 10+ years in investor/occupier services preferred.
• Degree in Architecture or related field is expected.
• LEED or WELL accreditation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop test fits and space plans.
• Implement and manage the design process.
• Understand MEP and structural coordination and vendor scopes.
• Support real estate transactions through design input and client support.
• Deploy resources to ensure design process flows smoothly.
• Develop strong client relationships and provide clear updates.
• Collaborate with engineers, consultants, contractors and clients.
• Lead and supervise team members and project work.
