Job summary

Fogarty Finger in New York is seeking a talented Senior Designer to join their Commercial Interiors studio. In this role, you will lead design development and manage project phases, ensuring alignment with the firm's design intent while mentoring junior staff. The ideal candidate will have 6-10 years of relevant experience and a strong proficiency in Revit.

This position offers genuine exposure to various project types, from residential to commercial work, with a defined path towards leadership roles.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of relevant professional experience at a similar architecture or interior design firm.
• Demonstrated experience producing quality CD packages and DOB permit sets.
• Working knowledge of NYC building codes, Landmarks requirements, and ADA requirements.
• Active pursuit of architectural licensure (ARE) or NCIDQ certification is preferred.
• Strong ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead design reviews across all project phases.
• Select materials and finishes to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Develop technical solutions and construction details.
• Manage multiple tasks and schedules across concurrent projects.
• Effectively mentor junior staff in the team.
