Job summary

Stryker is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to support the Endoscopy Systems R&D team in creating intuitive user experiences for surgical visualization and OR integration. The role is hybrid, with in-office presence 3 days/week and remote work for the rest, based near San Jose, CA.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of product design experience, strong UX/UI skills, and a portfolio showing end-to-end product development from concept to launch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Product Design or related discipline.
• Minimum of 2+ years of professional product design experience (physical and/or digital).
• Advanced proficiency in Figma for UX/UI design and prototyping.
• Experience collaborating within software/product development for embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand needs and clinical environment.
• Develop concepts and prototypes to test hypotheses and define requirements.
• Create cohesive user experiences across physical and digital touchpoints.
• Translate design concepts into design descriptions for R&D teams.
