Job summary

Google is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to join the AI and Compute Infrastructure UX team. You will shape the UX for enterprise cloud platforms, turning complex workflows into intuitive experiences and partnering with engineers, PMs, and researchers to advance GKE and Compute Engine.

You will lead design strategy, mentor junior designers, and contribute to global design systems while ensuring scalable, enterprise-ready solutions for Google's AI hyper-computer architecture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
• Experience designing technical enterprise cloud applications.
• Experience leveraging generative AI tools and workflows for prototyping and interface exploration.
• Include a portfolio, website, or other relevant link to your work in your resume.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UX idea and design strategy for complex, ambiguous AI and compute infrastructure domains.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and researchers to design useful, consistent, and scalable agent-native cloud products.
• Communicate user experiences at various stages of the design process using storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Influence and contribute to the evolution of global design systems for wider utility.
• Mentor junior UX designers, providing constructive design feedback and fostering craft excellence.
