Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to your teams for design and architectures for building solutions for seamless integration with partners
• Manage engineering teams delivering on the IAS’s mission concerning ad data quality
• Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and deploy technical solutions
• Drive technical innovation aligned with business impact within AI strategy
• Foster a collaborative environment, partnering with Product and stakeholders to transmute business problems into scalable solutions
• Own business and organizational strategy for the domain, including problem identification
• Collaborate across teams for cohesive, powerful results with AI-augmented work streams
• Partner with Product Managers to define product requirements and translate them into engineering roadmaps
• Coach the team on technical best practices to push for significant impact
• Manage tooling and infrastructure investments for the team
• Oversee hiring, performance, and retention for a high-performing team.

Requirements

• BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related STEM field
• 8+ years of hands‑on experience in software development, with at least 5 years leading and managing high‑performing engineering teams
• Deep, hands‑on experience building and deploying AI and machine learning systems at scale
• A "builder first" mentality, with current, hands‑on experience in modern AI‑augmented development workflows
• Proven ability to partner effectively with Product and business stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Expertise in system design and architecture for scalable, production‑grade AI services
• Experience working with other teams or technical program managers to coordinate cross‑team projects
• Excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering complex technical projects on time
• Experience building and leading teams in a fast‑paced, agile environment.
