Job summary

Merck is seeking a Senior Intelligence Analyst to join the Intelligence Operations Center within the Resiliency Center. You will monitor global geopolitical events, analyze threats, and produce strategic intelligence for senior leadership, rotating portfolios as needed to support safe, uninterrupted operations across the globe.

Role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in intelligence or risk analysis, OSINT investigations, and strong written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 7 years of experience in intelligence analysis, geopolitical risk assessment, or threat monitoring within a corporate, government, military, or specialized consulting environment.
• Experience producing analytical reports and briefings for leadership.
• Experience conducting OSINT investigations and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor and analyze global geopolitical events, emerging security threats, and other assigned portfolios to assess their potential impact on our Company.
• Flexibly adapt to and manage rotating intelligence accounts, developing deep subject matter expertise across various threat vectors to support evolving operational needs.
• Draft and present high-fidelity intelligence products—including tactical flash alerts, deep-dive strategic assessments, and threat horizon forecasts—tailored for global security leadership and enterprise stakeholders.
• Leverage OSINT, threat platforms, and internal data sets to identify indicators of security, operational, geopolitical, or reputational risk.
• Provide analytical support to the 24/7 watch desk and incident management teams during global crises or escalations.
• Partner with legal, HR, cybersecurity, and security teams to deliver tailored intelligence that enables safe operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned based on evolving needs.
