RTX, based in Buckley Space Force Base, USA, seeks an experienced operations professional for an onsite, 24/7 rotating shift role. The position requires an active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance and U.S. citizenship.

This position is performed 100% onsite i n the near real-time decision-making environment on a rotating 24/7, 12-hour rotating shift schedule.

What You Will Do:

  • Currently possess active senior level certifications for operational mission positions as required by assigned job duties
  • Perform duties with limited oversight from senior program leaders and customers
  • Perform assigned job duties while monitoring and directing the performance of junior level team operators
  • Daily responsibilities require frequent interactions with customers, peers and senior leadership
  • Provide near real-time operational response to system alerts and changes in the system environment including system reconfiguration, data analysis, and data reporting
  • Monitor near real-time status of the system and applying near real-time technical problem-solving skills
  • Perform and document preliminary evaluation of system problems. Advise and assist in effecting design changes to improve operational efficiency and/or reduce cost of operations
  • Document and maintain operational event logs and records. Utilize technical training and/or equivalent technical experience to evaluate system performance and enhance system operation and data processing capabilities
  • Work in a closed environment where frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers
  • Perform work in the near real-time decision-making environment and successfully complete required Operations Certification Process
  • Perform outlined duties on a rotating 24/7, 12-hour rotating shift schedule

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years equivalent experience in Intel Operations and/or Intelligence (Signals) Analysis experience with military to include military leadership
  • An active and in-scope TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Ability to distinguish the difference between colors on a computer monitor (specifically red, blue, white and green)
  • Knowledge or experience performing satellite mission support in a near real-time operations environment
  • Knowledge of tasking, collection, processing, exploitation, analysis and dissemination processes
  • Experience working in direct support of customers and with direct and frequent customer interaction
  • Completed Operations Certification Process required by program

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
