Job summary

WSP is seeking a Lead Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) MIS Technical Consultant to guide Intelex deployments for our global Digital Solutions Team. This remote role will require travel to client sites and a deep understanding of EHS&S processes across industries.

You will lead requirements workshops, present technical roadmaps, manage data migration and reporting (Power BI), oversee end-to-end delivery of EMIS and related tools, and mentor junior staff while coordinating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Expert-level Intelex applications experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a project lead on multiple software implementations.
• 7+ years of experience working in the Intelex application.
• Willingness to undergo a full criminal background check for government projects.
• Experience directing and supporting remote and global teams, including mentoring staff.
• Strong analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Act as a primary technical-facing liaison for clients on EHS&S digital initiatives, ensuring clear communication of solution capabilities, constraints, and implementation approaches.
• Facilitate requirements and design workshops with business and IT stakeholders, including senior staff and executive leadership when needed.
• Present solution designs, technical roadmaps, and implementation progress to client stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business-relevant language.
• Support up-selling and cross-selling of WSP’s broader digital and EHS&S services by identifying technical enhancement opportunities within existing client environments.
• Lead and support the end-to-end delivery of EHS&S software solutions, including EMIS and supporting digital tools.
• Define and manage technical implementation tasks such as system configuration, data migration, interface development, and reporting dashboards.
• Establish and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, configuration guides, integration specifications, and runbooks.
• Define test strategies and plans for EHS&S digital solutions, including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Monitor technical performance and reliability of deployed solutions and coordinate remediation activities as needed.
• Interact with subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders in a confident and professional manner.
