Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Python backend stack and data pipelines.
• Experience integrating third-party systems: REST/SOAP and APIs (e.g., NetSuite SuiteQL).
• Designing idempotent, resumable pipelines with clean schema boundaries.
• Strong SQL and high-performance queries against large datasets.
• Emphasis on operability: logging, alerting, and auditability.
• Familiarity with AI/ERP integration workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

Senior Integration Engineer (Visa Sponsorship)

Data is the lifeblood of operating an excellent supply chain. Without clean data, everything crashes: forecasts drift, orders land wrong, and trust evaporates. The Spherecast Platform is the real-time operating system for global consumer-goods supply chains, and Agnes, our AI Supply Chain Manager, runs on top of it. The platform and Agnes are only as good as the data flowing in and the actions flowing back out. That's where you come in.

You’ll own the integration layer end to end: the connective tissue between Spherecast and the (legacy) ERPs like NetSuite, the FTP drops and S3 buckets, the data warehouses like Snowflake, Databricks, and BigQuery, and the custom sheets where supply chains actually live today, plus the write paths that push Agnes's approved decisions back into those systems of record.

External data infrastructure and systems are quirky. We want you to go deep into the nature of each external API, understand its strengths and weaknesses, and build with them rather than against them. When a connector breaks at 2am on the customer's side, your monitoring tells us before they notice.

What you’ll do

• Build, extend, maintain, and monitor the integration architecture across diverse data sources: legacy ERPs (like NetSuite), FTP, S3, data warehouses (like Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery), and custom sheets.

• Orchestrate and schedule their execution so syncs run reliably without a human watching.

• Build a scalable, near-realtime, robust, and fault-tolerant system that handles millions of records per customer.

• Bring the integration layer to the next level: make it more flexible and more seamless to connect new, before-unseen sources, so the next customer’s stack is a configuration, not a rebuild.

• Write round-trip integration tests ensuring the full read-update-write lifecycle never causes data loss.

• Validate, cross-match, and detect likely errors in data early, before they cause business harm.

What we’re looking for

You are a great fit if you have:

• Hands-on experience with our backend stack: Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and Pydantic, with a track record of shipping production data pipelines and integrations.

• Deep experience integrating third-party systems: REST, SOAP, and query-language APIs (think NetSuite SuiteQL), OAuth and credential management, rate limits, pagination, and the undocumented quirks every ERP hides. You've built connectors that survived contact with real customer data.

• A strong instinct for pipeline design: fetch, validate, normalize, upsert, built idempotent and re-runnable, with clean schema boundaries between the remote system’s world and ours.

• Proficiency in SQL, writing high-performance queries and bulk upserts despite billions of data points for even a single customer.

• Respect for the write path: pushing AI-approved actions into a customer's ERP demands safety rails, dry runs, failure capture, and auditability.

• A habit of building for operability: structured logging, sync-run tracking, and alerting (we use PagerDuty) so failures are caught, triaged, and attributed, including telling an external stakeholder when the error is on their side.

• Claude Code, Codex, and OpenCode are your best friends. You know how to parallelize instances to make sure we're shipping 24/7, even while you sleep, and you know the ins and outs of each of them at any time.

• Excited to work directly with CPG operators and their IT teams, owning integrations end to end, from scoping a customer's ERP setup to shipping and operating the sync that runs their business.

• Bonus: NetSuite experience, background task orchestration (Hatchet, Temporal), unstructured data ingestion and AWS.
