Auria is seeking a Senior Integration and Test Engineer to support the Ground Management & Integration (GMI) program. This hybrid role will involve on-site work in Boulder, CO and collaboration with agile teams to verify end-to-end system performance.

You will design and execute manual and automated tests in CI/CD, define verification approaches, and generate test records while partnering with government stakeholders to ensure cybersecurity and operational readiness of the ground system.

Qualifications

Auriais looking to hire aSenior Integration and Test Engineer to support the RMWT GMI program. This role is Hybrid with planned On-Site work in Boulder, CO.

The Ground Management & Integration (GMI) program develops and integrates the next-generation ground architecture supporting the U.S. Space Force's Resilient Missile Warning and Tracking (MWT) mission. The program delivers a secure, scalable, and resilient ground system that integrates multiple mission applications, satellite providers, and operational sites into a unified mission capability. In this role, the Integration & Test Engineer will play a key role in integrating software and hardware components, verifying end-to-end system functionality, supporting mission operations readiness, and ensuring the system meets customer performance, cybersecurity, and operational requirements.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
  • Design, develop, and implement manual and automated software unit and system-level tests in a Continuous Integration / Continuous Test (CI/CD) environment.
  • Determine the verification approach for system requirements and isolate software and system-level defects. Conduct and participate in formal test events at customer sites with government stakeholders to validate system capabilities.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical leadership as a key member of an Agile Scrum team.
  • Work closely with other team members to build, configure, and troubleshoot the system.
  • Develop and execute Integration and Test (I&T) plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Generate and maintain system documentation, including configuration baselines, rack diagrams, and test records.
  • Support system-level reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR) and readiness assessments.
  • Contribute to verification matrices, risk registers, and test reports for customer delivery.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:

  • Hands-on experience testing new software releases, verifying system functionality, and documenting test outcomes.
  • Experience with test process development, test case design, test procedure development, test execution, system evaluation, and test reporting.
  • Familiarity with the Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission and/or satellite ground systems.
  • Proven ability to isolate and resolve system-level issues, provide design feedback, and implement corrective actions across interdependent components.
  • Demonstrated ability to train personnel on relevant applications, ensuring knowledge transfer and operational readiness.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to support multiple test and demonstration events.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive team approach.
WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
  • Knowledge base of I&T on space systems, operational systems, and/or live, virtual, and constructive environments (LVC).
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in a DevOps environment, especially involving GitLab CI/CD, building and testing Docker containerized applications and APIs, and troubleshooting pipeline/deployment issues.
  • 2+ years experience modeling, integrating, and testing DOD space systems and subsystems, including systems, products, and interfaces across ground and space components.
  • Experience in automated web UI and API testing, with experience using frameworks or tools to validate end-to-end system behavior and data flows.
  • Experience with requirements traceability, system-of-systems integration, test planning, test development, and test execution.
  • Experience with automated test and data-driven development concepts, tools, and languages.
  • Experience with Agile development and digital engineering / MBSE approaches.
PAY TRANSPARENCY:

The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $150,000 - $170,000
