This role independently leads data integration analysis initiatives by defining source-to-target mapping strategies, establishing complex data transformation requirements, and providing architectural direction for the implementation of Silver Medallion layer design principles. Acting as a trusted advisor to both business and technical stakeholders, the analyst ensures the delivery of trusted, scalable, and business-ready data products aligned with enterprise objectives. The role also maintains ownership of business glossary terms for all data domains in Silver Medallion layer, data quality standards, data lineage context, stewardship processes, and associated governance artifacts within Snowflake Horizon Catalog, ensuring sustained data transparency, accountability, and operational excellence.

Compensation

Compensation: $120,000 - $147,000/annually in addition to a competitive bonus plan

Key Responsibilities
Identity Resolution & Match Stewardship (approximately 60%)
  • Lead enterprise data analysis initiatives across multiple source systems to proactively identify data quality risks, establish integration standards, and define source-to-target mapping strategies that enable trusted, standardized data domain assets across the Enterprise Data Platform.
  • Provide independent leadership in the analysis and resolution of complex cross-system data relationships and grain challenges by documenting lineage, defining transformation requirements, conducting root cause assessments, and recommending strategic remediation approaches for Data Engineering implementation.
  • Own the design, governance, and ongoing evolution of source-to-target mappings for Silver Medallion layer data domains, including NPI, taxonomy, licensure, credentialing status, payer enrollment, practice affiliation, and employment attributes across EHR/PM, Salesforce, Workday, and other approved enterprise source systems.
  • Serve as the accountable steward for metadata and governance assets within Snowflake Horizon Catalog, establishing and maintaining business definitions, data lineage, source-to-target mappings, data quality standards, ownership assignments, and critical data element documentation to promote enterprise transparency, regulatory compliance, data discoverability, and trusted business-ready data products.
Data Quality, Issue Management & Silver Layer Validation (approximately 40%)
  • Participate in establishment and governing business acceptance criteria for enterprise data products, ensuring alignment with data quality standards, governance policies, operational requirements, and strategic business objectives prior to production release.
  • Lead the validation and certification of critical business identifiers and key data elements across Silver layer datasets, directing complex data analysis efforts, identifying integration risks and defects, and driving remediation strategies in partnership with Data Engineering and DataOps teams.
  • Own the end-to-end governance process for Silver Medallion layer data domains, and reference data integration issues, providing intake leadership, prioritization oversight, impact assessment, remediation guidance, and resolution validation to ensure timely and effective issue management across the enterprise.
  • Conduct enterprise-level trend analysis and root cause investigations to identify systemic data quality and integration challenges across registration, scheduling, provider onboarding, credentialing, HR, and other operational workflows; define corrective action requirements and influence long-term process and technology improvements.
  • Serve as the authoritative owner of source-to-target mapping specifications, business transformation logic, and end-to-end data lineage documentation for Silver Medallion layer data domains, to include reference data domains, ensuring transparency, consistency, and traceability across enterprise data assets.
  • Act as the primary escalation point and strategic liaison for identity, integration, and data quality incidents affecting analytics, operational, and business stakeholders; lead impact assessments, define remediation and testing requirements, and oversee the controlled promotion of solutions through established release and governance processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of data analysis experience, 3 years in healthcare data analysis, health information management (HIM).
  • Working knowledge of healthcare patients and provider data structures and workflows.
  • Experience with AthenaOne is strongly preferred; familiarity with Salesforce provider credentialing and Workday as provider data sources is a plus.
  • Proficient SQL skills and the ability to independently query Snowflake to investigate identity issues, validate global ID assignments, profile defects, and verify remediation.
  • Experience defining data quality rules, managing issue backlogs, performing root-cause analysis, and communicating trends and business impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of HIPAA privacy and security requirements as applied to identity data, access, auditability, and merge/unmerge operations.
