Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Integrated Media Planner role at True Media.

Open position in all True Media office locations, including Kansas City, MO, Columbia, MO, St. Louis MO, and Minneapolis, MN; Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home.

The Senior Integrated Media Planner will develop and substantiate measurement and channel strategies supporting client business goals under the oversight of the Planning Director. Responsibilities include creating rationales for recommendations, working independently within project parameters, collaborating with Activation Strategy teams, and ensuring all client media plans and buys are delivered effectively. The role also involves supporting business improvements by meeting departmental goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Integrated Media Planning and Strategy Development: Develop plans across traditional and digital channels, align strategies with client objectives, collaborate with activation teams, and manage media briefs.
  2. Research and Insights: Conduct research on audience insights, competitive landscape, and industry trends; leverage agency research tools; develop industry viewpoints.
  3. Measurement and Reporting: Develop measurement strategies with clear KPIs, oversee final reporting, and collaborate with teams to derive insights.
  4. Client Relationship: Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and ensure understanding of plans to facilitate feedback and signoff.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years in media planning roles within digital, content, or traditional media at an agency.
  • Experience delegating tasks to junior staff and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Ability to analyze data and market research effectively.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
