JOB TITLE: Senior Intake Representative

Pay Rate: $28 - $32/hr

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Law Offices of Daniel Kim is a top-rated Personal Injury Law Firm in California. We fight for plaintiffs in cases involving cars, trucks, motorcycles, rideshare companies (Uber/Lyft), and other motor vehicle accidents.

We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate and detail-oriented Senior Intake Specialist to join our team. The Intake Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for potential clients, ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding process. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to assess case viability, and a strong commitment to client service.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES :

  • Answer and screen a high volume of inquiry calls and emails from potential clients
  • Conduct initial consultations to assess the potential of new cases
  • Update the lead's status in the system as needed
  • Collect all pertinent case information to set-up a case file
  • Ensure all client information and case details are thoroughly documented and updated in Lead Docket/CasePeer
  • Foster a positive relationship with potential clients and ensure a smooth transition from intake to case management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals
  • Excellent interpersonal social skills at all times
  • Ability to exhibit compassion, empathy, and professionalism when communicating with potential and current client
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Ability to pay very close attention to detail
  • Ability to manage their time and multi-task effectively
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure for an attorney for representation.
  • Develop leads and convert to business
  • Effectively communicate with potential clients to facilitate electronic or in-person sign-ups.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure client satisfaction and seamless integration of client feedback

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 3+ years of proven experience as a sales representative or in a similar customer service role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to clients and understand their needs
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Outlook, Word, Excel) and other applications and/or systems (i.e., Adobe, Internet)
  • Strong self-motivation and goal-oriented mindset, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual English & Spanish is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong digital and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Must be comfortable taking back-to-back calls for 8+ hours/day

Physical Demands and Working Environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer; vision to read printed materials and a computer screen; and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone. This is primarily a sedentary office classification although standing in work areas and walking between work areas may be required. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter, and retrieve data using a computer keyboard or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. Positions in this classification occasionally bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, and pull drawers open and closed to retrieve and file information. Employees must possess the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects up to 25 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Employees work in a traditional office environment with moderate noise levels, controlled temperature conditions, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances.
