Job summary

Ares Insurance Solutions is seeking a senior Structurer to lead investment structuring and capital-efficient designs across private credit, structured credit, and asset-backed finance for U.S., Bermuda, and Cayman markets.

The role requires deep insurance balance sheet experience, regulatory capital knowledge, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams to optimize risk-adjusted returns and liquidity.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in structuring transactions, insurance investments, or related areas.
• Experience with insurance balance sheets and capital frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate with governance bodies and rating agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structuring of complex investment transactions across private credit, structured credit, asset-backed finance, and related areas.
• Design structures aligned with liabilities, liquidity, and capital frameworks.
• Serve as primary contact for rating agencies for AIS.
• Evaluate economics, waterfalls, collateral, and legal docs.
• Collaborate with internal/external counsel on documentation and governance rights.
• Act as SME on capital-efficient structures for insurance portfolios.
• Analyze regulatory capital implications across RBC/BSCR/MCR-PCR in relevant jurisdictions.
• Coordinate with actuarial, finance, tax, accounting, risk teams.
