Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Senior Analyst, Insurance Risk in Atlanta to own analysis, administration, and continuous improvement of Rivian’s enterprise insurance and risk programs. You will lead renewals, claims analytics, regulatory reporting, and broker performance in a fast-paced, agile environment.

The role requires turning exposure, claims, policy, and compliance data into clear recommendations and reliable operating processes while partnering with Treasury, and other stakeholders to align risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, insurance, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Five+ years in enterprise risk management, insurance, brokerage, or related discipline.
• Strong working knowledge of property and casualty insurance incl. management liability, cyber, workers’ comp, or commercial auto.
• Experience supporting insurance renewals, exposure data analysis, claims analytics, risk financing, policy administration, or related enterprise insurance activities.
• Experience interpreting insurance program data, financial information, regulatory or insurer requirements.
• Strong project management skills with ability to manage competing priorities and drive timely decisions.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Google Suite; working knowledge of Claude, Gemini, or similar AI engines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with executive presence and storytelling.
• Commitment to inclusive, collaborative, high-performing relationships across levels and functions.

Responsibilities

• Own major workstreams supporting property, casualty, workers’ compensation, management liability, cyber, and other enterprise insurance programs.
• Lead preparation of policy renewal submissions with collection, validation, analysis, and presentation of exposure data from segments and functions.
• Analyze corporate risk management, insurance, and financing data to support global programs and recommendations for improvements.
• Partner with managers to assess coverage needs, identify emerging risks, and prepare materials for internal/external decision-making.
• Maintain a clear view of program milestones, dependencies, decisions, and risks across multiple initiatives.
• Own operating processes for policy schedules, broker deliverables, invoices, certificates of insurance, auto ID cards, surety bonds, and related documentation.
• Establish controls to improve accuracy, timeliness and auditability of Certificates of Insurance from third parties.
• Support onboarding and coordination for insurance brokers and vendors.
• Identify service gaps, resolve operational issues, and improve experiences for internal partners.
• Lead coordination of claims data to support renewals and reporting.
• Build analyses, dashboards, and executive-ready materials linking risk trends to business performance.
• Establish data quality standards and improve data usability for internal/external partners.
• Support improvements to insurance risk processes and documentation across the department.
• Identify opportunities to streamline manual work and enable practical digital solutions.
• Develop internal insurance resources and guidance.
