Job summary

Accredited seeks a Senior Program Analyst- Insurance & Reinsurance in New York to support operational and financial administration of insurance programs and reinsurance arrangements. You will act as a liaison across underwriting, finance, claims, and external partners, ensuring accurate reporting and smooth onboarding of new programs.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of insurance program structures, MGAs, delegated authority, premium and claims flows, commissions, and reinsurance.
• Ability to interpret insurance and reinsurance contract terms and translate them into reporting, reconciliation, and settlement requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work with large datasets.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and US Statutory insurance reporting and financial close requirements.

Responsibilities

• Insurance Program Onboarding: coordinate onboarding of new and renewed programs, MGAs, delegated authority arrangements.
• Bordereaux Creation and Data Validation: prepare, review, and reconcile premium, claims, commissions, and reinsurance bordereaux.
• Reinsurance Operations: support assumed and ceded reinsurance administration across various structures.
• Program Accounting and Reconciliations: maintain reconciliations for premium, commissions, claims, and reinsurance.
• Settlements and Cash Operations: review settlement statements and coordinate cash allocations.
• Controls, Data Governance and Process Improvement: maintain controls and audit-ready documentation.
