Job summary

National Life Group is looking for an Insurance Investment Portfolio Manager to oversee the insurer’s investment portfolio. Responsibilities include managing asset allocation across fixed income, equity, and alternative investments to ensure optimal risk-adjusted returns.

Qualifications

• 5–12+ years of experience in institutional asset management or insurance investments.
• Strong understanding of insurance balance sheets and statutory accounting.
• Deep knowledge of fixed income markets including corporates and sovereigns.

Responsibilities

• Manage fixed income, equity, and alternative investments according to risk appetite.
• Optimize portfolio duration and credit quality in alignment with insurance liabilities.
• Monitor portfolio performance against benchmarks and internal targets.
