Goodwin Recruiting is partnering with a leading law firm in San Diego to hire an Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage and Litigation. The role requires 5+ years of hands-on experience defending insurance clients and carriers in court, with a focus on coverage issues.

You will take and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, and represent clients at hearings, mediations, and trials while performing in-depth case analysis and legal research.

Qualifications

• 5+ years defending insurance clients in court and litigating coverage issues.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Perform legal research and provide case law analysis.
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence.
• Communicate effectively with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Deliver exemplary legal counsel to clients.
• Active California Bar membership is required.
