Job summary
The Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) is seeking one senior level contract analyst to join the Office of Product Regulation and Actuarial Services (OPRAS). This advanced role requires strong analytical skills and expertise in commercial health and life insurance products, along with familiarity with relevant Ohio and Federal insurance laws.

Qualifications
- 10 yrs. exp. in insurance field working with contracts & with insurance product development responsibility including responsibility for compliance with state & federal laws, regulations & standards
Responsibilities
- Analyzing complex life and health insurance policy form submissions for compliance with state & federal laws and policies
- Notifying insurance companies of compliance issues with their proposed policies and other forms, providing necessary information to the filers, and approving forms for use in Ohio
- Researching and understanding relevant compliance requirements
- Creating and maintaining compliance review tools and work management tools to aid in assigned responsibilities
- Assisting lower level insurance contract analysts
