Candidates must demonstrate experience writing analyses, researching data, and advising on insurance regulations, with at least one year at GS-14 or equivalent.
This position is to serve as a Senior Insurance Analyst in the U.S. Department of the Treasury's Federal Insurance Office (FIO). In this role, you will apply your insurance expertise to develop U.S. policy on key insurance-related topics such as terrorism risk insurance, insurer solvency, and other topics related to property & casualty insurance, life insurance, insurance-related retirement products, and reinsurance. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience requires meeting both A and B below:
A. Experience in writing, researching, analyzing data, or providing legal advice in at least ONE of the following five areas of focus:

B. Experience in at least TWO of the following three activities:
