Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Test Engineer - Instrumentation to lead high‑level instrumentation projects in the aerospace sector. You will coordinate with cross‑functional teams to meet timelines, budgets and quality standards, delivering reliable test data and scalable sensor solutions.

You will report to the Sr Test Eng Manager and work from Phoenix, AZ on a Hybrid schedule. For 90 days, onboarding requires 100% onsite work, ensuring proper integration with teams and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics).
• 4+ years in test engineering, preferably in aerospace environments.
• Experience in advanced instrumentation engineering within aerospace or related industries.
• Familiarity with instrumentation systems, measurement methods, project management methodologies, and aerospace engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced measurement sensors and deliver high-quality solutions for turbomachinery products.
• Define measurement system integration for reliable test data.
• Create standards and documentation for measurement sensor installations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define test requirements and align with product specs.
• Analyze test data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
• Implement innovative testing methodologies to enhance coverage and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior test engineers.
• Travel: up to 10%.
