Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in Instrumentation or comparable knowledge.
• Experience in maintenance on a chemical plant for at least 10 years.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, blueprints, P&IDs, isometric drawings.
• Journeyman tools experience and familiarity with power tools.
• Ability to work with low- and high-pressure tubing/piping systems.
• Excellent communication skills and reliability.
• Willingness to follow company and project policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, isometrics, and instructions.
• Install, repair, maintain, and calibrate electronic equipment and controls.
• Test and analyze equipment for accuracy and functionality.
• Perform preventative maintenance or calibration on equipment or systems.
• Prepare reports on tests, repairs, and installations.
• Troubleshoot and repair instrument and electrical problems in process control systems.
• Assist in estimating, planning and procuring materials for maintenance and capital projects.
