A leading mining company in Arizona is seeking an Engineering professional to specify and select instrumentation and design maintenance plans. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in Electrical or Instrumentation. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing training and guidance to technicians and will enjoy a collaborative work environment. The estimated salary range is between $101,000 - $141,000, with various benefits on offer.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate Engineering discipline from an accredited engineering program.
Five (5) years related experience in engineering relevant to Electrical or Instrumentation.
Robotics, Mechatronics experience preferred.
Responsibilities
Specify and select instruments following company standards.
Design the maintenance plan of instruments.
Provide training and guidance to technicians for installation and calibration.
Skills
Ability to specify and select instrumentation
Skilled in budget preparation
Knowledge of communication platforms and protocols
Knowledge of PLC or DCS hardware and software
Broad knowledge of electronics principles
Skill in effective communication
Ability to evaluate and implement operational improvements
