Job summary
Bowman Consulting Group, Ltd. in Houston, TX is seeking an Engineer IV, Instrumentation & Controls to lead and mentor the instrumentation and control engineering team on our projects.
You will provide technical direction, design reviews, and implement control systems, while collaborating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to deliver safe, reliable facilities. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience.
- PE license preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of instrument and controls engineering principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform equipment sizing & selection, analyses and deliverables.
- Support engineering, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Present deliverables to project teams and stakeholders.
- Plan, forecast, and actualize deliverable progress for reporting.
- Identify scope changes and estimate impact to effort and schedule.
- Assist proposals by evaluating RFP scope and required effort.
- Develop instrumentation standards and control concepts.
