Job summary

CRB Group is seeking an AIC Engineer III to oversee discipline design and budget on small to mid-size projects. The role coordinates with engineers, clients, construction managers, subcontractors and vendors to deliver automation systems across multiple controllers, HMIs, workstations and servers.

You will lead design phases from programming through construction administration, mentor junior staff, and ensure quality through discipline checks.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in ChemE, ME, or EE (required).
• Minimum 5 years of design firm experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.
• Microsoft Office proficiency and familiarity with engineering calculations.
• Experience with instrument and control system design is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interface with clients and external partners.
• Plan and direct work; manage a discipline design budget on small projects.
• Support proposal development under supervision of Lead or Senior Engineer.
• Identify non-compliant conditions during site walks and surveys.
• Develop internal discipline design and training materials.
• Prepare construction drawings and write specs for intermediate projects.
• Lead squad and discipline checks; drive project quality.
• Mentor Engineer I and Designer I/II.
• Lead intermediate system design programming and master planning with support.
