Job summary

PBF Energy is looking for a Sr Instrument Engineer to provide support for instrument engineering activities at the Toledo Refinery. This role involves developing and managing instrumentation projects and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

The successful candidate will have at least five years of experience in industrial instrumentation, including experience in a refinery environment. Strong teamwork and technical skills are necessary for this role to enhance operational efficiency and safety.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of industrial instrumentation and control systems experience preferred.
• Two years in a refinery environment preferred.
• Experience with process measurement instrumentation and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support instrument engineering activities throughout the refinery.
• Develop and manage refinery instrumentation projects.
• Ensure compliance with Process Safety policies and procedures.

Skills

Control valve sizing

Electrical schematic drawings

PLC/HMI systems knowledge

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
