Job summary

Oman Shell in Louisiana seeks an experienced Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance professional to support construction, plant facilities and field operations. You will repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems and related equipment.

You will inspect PLCs/DCS, read electrical schematics, and participate in safety programs. Responsibilities include mentoring staff, supervising contractors, and delivering accurate reports while

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis.
• 5 years’ experience in Industrial Maintenance setting.
• NFPA 70E certification and NCCER electrical/instrument certifications or degree.
• Valid driver’s license with safe driving record.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, and SAP; effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide instrument and electrical technical support for construction, plants and field operations.
• Repair, install, troubleshoot, and perform predictive and preventative maintenance on control systems.
• Maintain PLCs and DCS, interpret electrical drawings and P&ID’s.
• Mentor less experienced staff; provide direction and oversight to contractors.
• Complete written and electronic reports; follow safety policies; perform LOTO.
