Job summary

Danos in Midland, TX, seeks a skilled Electrical/Instrument Technician to install and maintain electrical and instrument equipment in processing facilities. You will test, repair, and document actions to ensure performance and product quality, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires an Associate degree with technical certifications and hands-on experience with electrical systems and instruments, plus ability to coordinate with operations, engineering, and projects teams

Qualifications

Associates degree and technical certifications required.
Experience in maintaining electrical systems and Instruments and Controls in processing plant or offshore production plant.
Familiar with regulations applicable to oil & gas facilities.
Meets the safety, administrative, and technical training requirements as documented in the Operations Training roadmap.
Good communication, organizational, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Plans, updates, and oversees all activities within his or her areas of responsibility according to laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and procedures, with emphasis on health, safety, and environment.
Supports and encourages teamwork between operations, engineering, and projects groups.
Provides input and reviews electrical and control specifications and work practices.
Ensures quality and timely completion of work scheduled by the Maintenance Program.
Develops personal and team technical skills through training and new regulations.
