Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. is seeking technicians with strong instrumentation and PLC experience to join our team for on-site electrical and instrumentation work.

You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems on multidiscipline projects, ensuring safety policy adherence and on-time delivery. Candidates should have 5+ years in industrial instrumentation, pressure sensors, flow meters, and temperature probes, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with industrial instruments, sensors, PLCs, and control systems.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience working on multidiscipline projects.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily time sheets and report on time.
• Work with other crafts on multidiscipline projects to complete within budget.
• Adhere to safety policies and complete weekly safety training.
• Ensure materials are on site before start to minimize travel for parts.
• Install conduit, wire, equipment per plans and specs.
• Perform emergency troubleshooting and repairs as needed.
• Review hours and materials with supervisor and project manager.
• Attend project closeout meetings where applicable.
• Discuss profit/loss with supervisory team to maximize efficiency on future projects.
