Job summary

Fluor is seeking a seasoned field construction supervisor to oversee and direct all construction activities for assigned craft in line with plans, schedules, and cost estimates. The role requires leadership of foremen and crafts and a proactive approach to problem solving on site.

You will work to meet project objectives, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with management to optimize craft performance. A strong background in construction practices and effective communication is essential.

• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct the work activities within assigned construction crafts in alignment with available engineering deliverables, tools, construction equipment, and materials; coordinate with other crafts as necessary.
• Approve or authorize the coordination of craft personnel, material, and equipment needed to meet schedules
• Directly support project and construction management with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for all construction activities
• Coordinate and implement indirect activities to support productive construction execution
• Typically represent the company as the in situ senior representative for assigned craft
