Job summary

Esri is seeking an experienced instructional designer to create effective training materials for Esri customers. You will analyze learner needs, define objectives, and design instructor-led and web-based learning.

You will develop assessments, refine existing curricula, and collaborate across teams to improve delivery workflows. A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design across SaaS or software is required.

Qualifications

5+ years in instructional design or related field in SaaS or product environments.
Strong written and verbal communication across roles.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative environment.
Foundational knowledge of ADDIE and Bloom's Taxonomy.
Experience designing instructor-led and web-based learning for technical audiences.
Portfolio submission required.

Responsibilities

Analyze learner needs and define measurable learning objectives.
Partner with subject matter experts to design and evaluate instructor-led and web-based learning.
Design engaging courses grounded in adult learning principles and instructional design best practices.
Develop and refine assessments; provide actionable feedback and recommendations.
Evaluate and enhance existing Esri curriculum to maintain design quality and consistency.
Collaborate with peers to improve content development workflows and learning solutions.
Support broader customer education initiatives and share instructional design best practices.
