Job summary

TCW in New York, NY is seeking a Sr. Institutional Sales Officer to raise new assets from institutional investors across private credit, public fixed income, and public equity.

You will collaborate with multiple TCW teams and leverage a proven, highly consultative sales approach to grow assets in a regional territory. The role requires a strong track record in asset management business development, deep product knowledge, and the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with major

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university.
• 10+ years of industry experience with at least 5 years in direct institutional sales.
• Proven track record in asset management institutional business development.
• Ability to understand and explain public and private asset classes, strategies and products.
• Established relationships with significant institutional investors.

Responsibilities

• Secure new business from institutional prospects in collaboration with Consultant Relations, Portfolio Specialist, and Product Services teams.
• Utilize consultative selling techniques to develop relationships with institutional clients and prospects.
• Actively develop client solutions and provide input for new product ideas and business capabilities.
• Frequent business travel required.
