Bristol Myers Squibb has a rich history in Neuroscience, focusing on neurodegenerative and neuromuscular conditions, with current markets in neurology and psychiatry, especially schizophrenia. Our purpose is to discover and develop therapies that change human health, driven by passion, innovation, and integrity.

Position Summary

The Institutional MHAS is vital for engaging with healthcare providers to promote BMS medicines, especially COBENFY for schizophrenia. The role involves calling on providers in community mental health centers, behavioral health centers, and hospitals, supporting hospital launches, and building scientific credibility and demand for our products.

The role emphasizes scientific dialogue, building relationships with regional thought leaders, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance customer experience while ensuring the safe and appropriate use of BMS products.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Promotion

  • Promote BMS products within a defined territory, meeting sales targets ethically.
  • Create demand by explaining clinical and scientific rationale.
  • Maintain expertise in assigned products and therapeutic areas.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans.
  • Utilize tools for insights and feedback.
  • Develop relationships within hospitals to support formulary access and treatment pathways.

Scientific Dialogue

  • Present scientific data accurately and engagingly.
  • Organize speaker programs and stay current with emerging data.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work with other field teams to enhance customer experience.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders for promotional activities.

Compliance

Adhere to all laws, regulations, and policies governing our conduct.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Advanced scientific degree or 5+ years in pharma/biotech sales, MSL, or healthcare.
  • Ability to communicate complex data convincingly.
  • Experience building credibility with healthcare providers, especially in psychiatry and hospital settings.
  • Understanding of healthcare systems, formulary, and reimbursement processes.
  • Proven sales performance and account management skills.
