Job summary

Diversified, a global leader in audiovisual and media technology, is seeking a senior field installation technician in San Francisco. You will install, integrate, and validate complex broadcast, media, enterprise AV, and experiential AV systems and provide technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.

This role requires 5–7 years of installation experience, ability to read engineering docs, troubleshoot, and lead work areas while maintaining safety and project schedules.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years installation experience and ability to interpret engineering docs.
• Rack integration and systems installation experience with AV projects.
• Strong troubleshooting capability and technical leadership.
• Preferred AVIXA CTS certification and OSHA 10/30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, integrate, and validate complex broadcast and AV systems.
• Provide technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.
• Lead assigned work areas and ensure project milestones are met.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards on-site.

Job Summary

Senior field installation technician responsible for installation, integration, and validation of complex broadcast, media, enterprise AV, and experiential AV systems. Provides technical guidance to Level 1 and Level 2 technicians.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

• Execute installation and integration of complex systems - Interpret engineering documentation and verify fabrication alignment - Participate in testing, troubleshooting, commissioning, and turnover activities - Lead assigned work areas and provide technical guidance to junior technicians - Execute assigned work while supporting project schedules and milestones - Communicate risks, dependencies, and field conditions - Maintain safety and compliance standards

Education and Certifications

• High school diploma required. - Associate degree preferred. - AVIXA CTS required. - OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred. - Dante Level 1 or 2 preferred.

Competencies, Skills And Experiences

Decision Making Authority

May lead assigned work areas and provide technical guidance but does not possess overall site authority

Physical Working Environment

• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and access confined spaces.
• Extended standing, bending, and technical work.
