Job summary

TrueNet Communications is hiring an Installation Technician to perform structured cabling and installation of total voice and data systems, networks, and wireless. The role requires coordinating with customers, managing inventory, and ensuring safety and quality across projects.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining equipment, preparing procedures for customer approval, and delivering accurate final documentation. Travel up to 50% may be required depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years telecommunication training and/or experience.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) skills.
• Must be mechanically inclined with strong mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Has technical proficiency in structured cabling, total voice and data systems, networks and wireless.
• Performs installations and maintenance of equipment and testing for completeness.
• Manages inventory of tools and ensures calibration is up to date.
• Coordinates with customers, vendors and project planning meetings to ensure timely delivery and documentation.
• Interacts with customers for approvals and prepares method of procedure documents.
• Ensures safety, quality, and efficiency of the crew and final paperwork is accurate and delivered.
