ActioNet has an opportunity for an Installation Engineer S r. This role is remote and based in Suitland, MD.

Responsibilities:

• Review computer systems for machine capabilities and user interface.
• Prepare reports and studies on hardware.
• Develop functional requirements and specifications for hardware acquisitions.
• Identify and resolve system issues to meet user requirements.
• Receive, tag, and prepare equipment for data center installation.
• Ensure power, cooling, and floor space availability for infrastructure.
• Update floor plan drawings for new and decommissioned equipment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3 years
• Organizes and directs network installations during site surveys.
• Assesses and documents site network configurations and user requirements.
• Designs and optimizes network topologies.
• Leads the preparation of engineering plans and site installation Technical Design Packages.
• Develops installation schedules and mobilizes network installation teams.
• Oversees documentation of configuration changes at each site.
• Prepares site installation and test reports.
• Coordinates post-installation operations and maintenance support.
