Job summary

Jabil is seeking an Inspector/Packer I to manually inspect completed plastics parts, pack them for shipping, seal boxes, print labels, and stack pallets. The role may involve operating machines and training newer staff, while maintaining a clean and safe work area.

Key duties include documenting production data, handling non-conforming parts, and collaborating across departments to ensure quality and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong math skills required.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Good color perception and manual dexterity.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Able to work well with others at all levels.
• Clear English communication.
• Proficient with SAP and email; MS Office skills.
• Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plastics parts for visual defects and record findings.
• Pack products into shipping containers and apply correct labels.
• Transport product to packing and shipping areas; stack on pallets.
• Operate manually operated molding presses when required.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Train new Inspector/Packer I employees as needed.
• Sort and rework non-conforming product and document status.
• Complete required training and follow safety regulations.
