Job summary

L3Harris Technologies seeks an experienced Inspection Technician E in Salt Lake City to perform advanced inspections of materials and assemblies. You will interpret drawings, specs, and IPC/AS9102 standards to determine conformance and drive quality improvements.

You will mentor inspectors, coordinate with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams, apply corrective actions, and support First Article Inspection. This 2nd shift role helps meet production schedules in Salt Lake City.

Qualifications

Requires strong inspection expertise and knowledge of industry workmanship standards.
Experience interpreting drawings, diagrams and specifications for conformance.
Ability to mentor junior inspectors and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced in-process and final inspections of materials and assemblies.
Interpret drawings, specifications, and IPC/AS9102 requirements to determine conformance.
Support investigations and corrective actions to resolve nonconformities.
Mentor less experienced inspectors and coordinate with manufacturing and quality teams.
Document results and contribute to control plans and inspection methods.
