McGraw Hill, the leading provider of digital and print educational solutions, is looking for a Senior Insights Analyst.The Sr. Insights Analyst is responsible for conducting analyses and studies using both qualitative and quantitative analytical methods. The main responsibilities of this role include analyzing large data sets to determine the root cause of customer contacts and pain points, while providing additional insights related to performance trends and operational processes. Communicating to stakeholders of all levels is required.
What you will be doing:
Conduct research projects aimed to provide business insights and tell compelling stories that influence stakeholders.
Analyze data to identify correlations between products, platforms, and customer contacts.
Monitor and measure the impact of new business initiatives on the customer experience.
Create new/strengthen existing metrics, to effectively measure business KPIs.
Develop and maintain data infrastructure to support automated and recurring data reports.
Perform ad hoc analysis as required, including primary and secondary research.
Ensure data accuracy and maintain data integrity.
Identify areas for improvement within various work groups based on data analysis.
Stay current of emerging trends and user behaviors.
What you need to be considered:
5+ years of experience in a data analytics role
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or related field
Proven track record of delivering actionable insights guide strategic decisions
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex data findings across various levels within the organization
Detail oriented with focus on high level of accuracy
Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills
Self-directed and self-motivated
Proficient in data analysis tools such as SPSS, R, and/or Python
General knowledge of Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics
Intermediate to advanced SQL query skills
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Working knowledge of data visualization tools including Tableau or Alteryx

The pay range for this position is between$55,000 - $86,500annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
