Job summary

Walgreens seeks a Senior Cyber Security Specialist I - Insider Threat Analysis to protect employees, patients, and data. You will identify insider risk, support DLP operations, and drive threat investigations across Walgreens networks and endpoints.

The role combines cybersecurity, behavioral analysis, and investigative work, including alert triage, policy tuning, and automation support, with a hybrid onsite/remote schedule and opportunities to mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent cyber security experience.
• 4+ years of information/cyber security experience.
• Experience in threat hunting, incident response or related areas.
• Ability to travel up to 10% for business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze cybersecurity incidents requiring expertise.
• Identify security gaps; respond to incidents and conduct threat analysis.
• Evaluate event flows to identify risks and implement solutions.
• Assist with security audits, risk analysis, network forensics and pentesting.
• Provide SME insights on trends and defenses to the team.
