Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist after CCC.
• Graduate from an accredited SLP program with a degree and certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
• California SLP license required at hire, BLS certification, and NPI required at hire.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides speech therapy services under supervision of the Director/Assistant Director or designee.
• Assists in orientation and training of employees as needed.
• Provides department in-service and staff education.
• Serves as a clinical instructor as requested by management.
• Participates in performance improvement projects and committee work.
• Mentors staff and may monitor contract therapists and other clinicians.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvement and new clinical practice models.
