Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to make a full-time appointment for a consultant psychiatrist to work in the Older Age Psychiatry service.

The Older Age wards are Rowan and Cedar at Parklands House, Royal Oldham Hospital, where you will provide high-quality mental health care for older people with severe and enduring conditions, inpatient and outpatient. You will work closely with other teams and consultants to ensure coherent care for older people in the Oldham area.

Qualifications

• Consultant psychiatrist with Older Age experience.
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient mental health care for older adults.
• Collaborate with community teams and other consultants for coherent care in Oldham area.
• Support transitions from hospital to community with safe discharge planning.
