Job summary

Yanfeng US Automotive Interior Systems II LLC is seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Project Management) to lead injection molding process improvement and support new product launches at our Ohio site. You will guide PEs, technicians, and mold setters while driving cycle time reduction, scrap control, and cost improvements.

The role requires 5-7 years in injection molding, 5-9 years in automotive, strong problem-solving, and SMED experience, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5-7 minimum years of experience with injection molding processes.
• 5-9 minimum years in the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
• Experience with mold change requirements and SMED methods.
• Hands-on experience with molding equipment and robotics.

Responsibilities

• Lead site process team including PEs, technicians, and mold setters.
• Drive injection molding continuous improvement: cycle times, scrap, cost.
• Develop plans for process improvement with accountability.
• Support new product launch tooling with manufacturing input.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to project timeliness.
• Ensure safety rules are followed daily by the team.
• Develop training material and mentor plant staff.
• Manage projects from equipment justification to installation.
