Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking a skilled Process Engineer to lead injection molding improvements at our automotive manufacturing sites in Ohio. You will work with process technicians and mold setters to optimize cycle times, scrap reduction, and tooling performance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5–9 years in the automotive sector, with strong analytical skills and Six Sigma experience. Travel to customer sites may be required as part of program support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of experience with injection molding process.
• 5–9 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites, including plants with variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing the site process team including Process Technicians and mold setters.
• Drive injection molding process improvements focusing on cycle times, scrap, and material cost reductions.
• Develop plans for process improvements and oversee tooling and equipment changes.
• Provide manufacturing input for new product launches and tooling development.
• Lead safety initiatives and ensure compliance with site policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to justify capital improvements and drive implementation.
