Job summary

NL-Staffing seeks a hands-on leader to run the entire molding department. You will oversee plastic injection molding, Scientific Molding, tooling, polymer selection, and machine troubleshooting (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical) to deliver critical medical device components.

Ideal candidates bring 8+ years in plastics with 3+ years leading technical teams, plus Lean Six Sigma, new product development, and Quality Assurance experience. Master Molder and Six Sigma certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Direct experience with plastic injection molding including Scientific Molding, tooling, polymer selection, and machine troubleshooting (electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical).
• Lean Six Sigma, new product development and Quality Assurance are key.
• Medical device molding experience is a big plus; certifications like RJG Master Molder and Six Sigma are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the molding department as a hands-on leader.
• Oversee process control, tooling, and quality for molded components.
• Drive continuous improvement and problem-solving in manufacturing.
