Job summary

Atomic Industries, Inc. is hiring a Senior Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to lead preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for large‑tonnage molding systems. You’ll keep presses, robots, and related equipment running at peak performance, shaping our PM program, and tracking downtime data.

This hands‑on role requires deep mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, with experience on 500T–2000T machines. You’ll help scale a next‑generation factory and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in injection molding maintenance, preferably large‑tonnage machines
• Strong hydraulics, electric systems (480V 3‑phase) knowledge
• Able to read schematics, ladder logic, and troubleshoot PLC systems
• Experience with mechanical rebuilds and servo systems
• Comfortable in a startup environment and taking initiative
• Bonus: experience with predictive maintenance tools or calibration
• High school diploma or technical certification required; additional training preferred

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair injection molding machines (190T–2000T) and related equipment
• Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs with minimal supervision
• Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules and logs
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Collaborate with engineering and production to address recurring issues
• Assist with electrical and facility infrastructure as needed
• Maintain spare parts inventory and advise on reorders
• Mentor junior techs and operators in troubleshooting
• Respond to urgent maintenance calls during shifts
