Job summary

Solstice Advanced Materials seeks a Sr Advanced R&D Engineer/Scientist specialized in inhalation to advance our Solstice Air propellant in respiratory therapies. You will drive customer adoption, build technical expertise, and work globally with cross-functional teams including regulatory partners.

Required: PhD or Master’s in related fields, 5+ years in pharma formulation or aerosol development, 3+ years inhalation science, willingness to travel internationally and relocate to Buffalo, NY area.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s degree in pharmaceutical sciences, chemistry, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, materials science or related fields or biology.
• 5+ years’ R&D experience in pharmaceutical formulation development, highly preferred in aerosol development.
• 3+ years’ experience in inhalation science/research.
• Must possess a valid passport/visa permitting international travel.

Responsibilities

• Drive adoption of Solstice Air propellant for inhaled applications through building technical expertise and customer relationships.
• Lead development of proof-of-concept MDI formulations and evaluate with standard testing.
• Develop and defend IP to protect investments in inhalation applications.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and regulators to enable new product adoption.
