Job summary

Figma is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional infrastructure projects across the org. The role focuses on scaling infrastructure, improving performance, and delivering on critical programs with collaboration across backend, security, and compliance teams.

The position is full-time and can be remote within the United States or based in a US hub. You will drive risk management, track milestones, and communicate with executives while advancing

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Infrastructure TPM or related roles (cloud engineering, SRE, infra-focused software engineering)
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems (AWS, GCP, or similar)
• Track record in large-scale infrastructure programs (migrations, encryption, reliability)
• Strong cross-functional program management across multi-team orgs
• Experience translating complex technical challenges into executive-level communications

Responsibilities

• Lead execution, coordination, and risk management of infrastructure projects
• Drive initiatives in reliability, storage, distributed systems, cloud-native performance, and compliance (e.g., encryption key management, SOC 2)
• Partner with engineering, security, compliance, and legal teams for alignment and on-time delivery
• Track milestones and ensure delivery across data, caching, observability, and security teams
• Provide updates to executives and external partners on status, risks, blockers, dependencies
• Develop and drive best practices in infrastructure program management
